The Derbyshire Cricket Foundation (DCF) celebrated the achievements of its disability cricket pathway on Friday 23 October, bringing together players, parents and coaches to reflect on two years of progress and look ahead to an exciting future.
The event recognised achievements both on and off the pitch, from improved skills and match performances to growing confidence, teamwork and personal development. Highlights included a historic total achieved by the Super 9 Regional team.
Special recognition awards were presented to players who demonstrated outstanding commitment and attitude:
- D40: Yuvi Patel
- Super 9 Regional: James Arthur
- Super 9 Challenge: Toby Webb
DCF also thanked Chevin Homes, whose support over the past two seasons has provided playing kit for all pathway players.
The celebration provided an opportunity to reflect on challenges overcome, share coaching highlights and introduce upcoming changes to ECB disability cricket formats.
As the pathway continues to grow, DCF remains committed to creating inclusive opportunities, developing talent and inspiring more people to discover that cricket is a game for me.
