MCC Foundation Hubs

MCC Foundation Hubs provide coaching to State School educated cricketers aged 11-17.

We are pleased to announce that we have received further funding from the MCC Foundation to grow the support for 11-17 year olds (school years 7-12 Girls and school years 7-10 boys) to enhance their cricketing skills in 2026.

Who Can Join?

The hubs are open to:

• Boys aged 11–15 (u13s and u15s)
• Girls aged 11–17 (u14s and u17s)
• Players not currently in County squads
• Those not attending fee-paying schools

These sessions are a fantastic opportunity for young cricketers to develop their skills, make new friends, and enjoy the game in a fun and supportive environment.

We will be running the following hubs:

Derby Girls: U14 and U17
Derby Boys: U13 and U15
Chesterfield Girls: U14 and U17
Chesterfield Boys: U13 and U15

Deadline for sign ups is Sunday 23rd November 2025

Derby Girls Hubs

U14 and U17 Hubs will be held at:

U14 – Derbyshire County Cricket Club, Nottingham Road, Derby, DE21 6DA

• Trials: Sunday 7th December
• Weekly Sessions: Starting Sunday 11th January for 10 weeks

U17 – Rykneld Sports Centre, Richmond Park Road, Derby, DE22 4FB

• Trials: Wednesday 3rd December
• Weekly Sessions: Starting Wednesday 7th January for 10 weeks

Derby Boys Hubs

U13 and U15 Hubs at:

Derbyshire County Cricket Club, Nottingham Road, Derby, DE21 6DA

• Trials: Saturday 6th December
• Weekly Sessions: From Saturday 10th January for 10 weeks
• U13: 6:00pm–7:30pm
• U15: 7:30–9:00pm

Chesterfield Girls Hubs

U14 and U17 Hubs will take place at:

Netherthorpe School, Ralph Road, Chesterfield, S43 3PU

• Trials: Sunday 7th December
• Weekly Sessions: From Sunday 11th January for 10 weeks
• U14: 10:00am–11:30am
• U17: 11:30am–1:00pm

Chesterfield Boys Hubs

U13 and U15 Hubs at:

• Trials: Sunday 7th December
• Weekly Sessions: Starting Sunday 11th January for 10 weeks
• U13: 1:00pm–2:30pm
• U15: 2:30pm–4:00pm
