Our Women’s Softball Falcons sessions are returning to Derby, offering women aged 16+ the opportunity to enjoy regular cricket training in a fun, friendly and supportive environment.
Whether you’re an experienced softball player looking to develop your game, have recently started playing, or simply want more opportunities to train during the winter, these sessions are designed for you.
Led by our experienced coaches, each session will give you the chance to work on all areas of your game, including batting, bowling and fielding. The focus is on helping you develop your skills and confidence while enjoying your cricket alongside other like-minded players.
Following the fantastic response to our previous Softball Falcons sessions, we’re excited to bring the programme back for another winter and welcome both returning and new players.
Lauren Tuffrey, said:
We regularly hear from women that they want more training opportunities and more ways to stay involved in cricket throughout the year. In response, we decided to introduce our Softball Falcons sessions, and the response has been incredible.
These sessions have created a welcoming and supportive space where players can learn, feel encouraged, and work with experienced coaches in the right environment to develop their game. The feedback has been overwhelmingly positive and has already shown the difference these sessions are making.
We're excited to build on this success and continue creating more opportunities for women to access and enjoy cricket in the future.
