Young Cricket Collective

We are excited to launch the Young Cricket Collective, designed to inspire the next generation of volunteers and leaders within our clubs.

The programme is the first national movement developed by the ECB, aimed at 14-18 years olds with links to the 2026 Women's Cricket World Cup (through the Champions of Change programme which will launch from April).

About the Young Cricket Collective

The course consists of 3 core modules (Additional supplementary modules will be released at a later date).

• Young Club Leader
• Young Activator
• Young Official

Course Details

All participants will receive:

• Access to an online earning portal to track volunteering hours
• Branded Young Cricket Collective tracksuit, notebook, pen and bucket hat
• Certificate for attending

This is FREE for all Derbyshire participants in 2026!

We are providing 3 opportunities for young  people to complete the 3 core modules ahead of the season.

If you have a young leader, Young Ambassador, aspiring coach, or simply someone who loves cricket and wants to get more involved, this is a perfect first step.
