The DCF is excited to find a passionate Cricket Development Coach who truly cares about helping communities grow and thrive through cricket.
We're looking for someone who can inspire a whole generation to feel, "Cricket is a game for them!" - sharing their love for the sport and making a real difference.
Managing Director, Richard Wood, said:
"It's an exciting time for cricket in Derbyshire. The game is growing and attracting a new and more diverse audience. We have a refreshed strategy, "A Game For Everyone", which will accelerate progress towards achieving our ambition to make cricket the most inclusive team sport. Growth brings with it new challenges and opportunities, and an opportunity to develop new programmes that seek to increase participation and widen access."
The Cricket Development Coach will work closely with the Young People development team to bring the DCF's Young People's Operational Plan to life. They'll enthusiastically open up chances for young people to enjoy cricket, making sure it's welcoming and easy to access for everyone across the county. Focused on the recreational game, this role is all about creating friendly, inclusive spaces, finding new opportunities, and encouraging clubs, schools, and communities to connect more with cricket.
