The DCF is excited to recruit a passionate Cricket Development Officer - Clubs & Volunteers who truly cares about helping communities grow and thrive through cricket.

We're looking for someone who can inspire a whole generation to feel "Cricket is a game for them!" - sharing their love for the sport and making a real difference.

Managing Director, Richard Wood, said:

"It's an exciting time for cricket in Derbyshire. The game is growing and attracting a new and more diverse audience. We have a refreshed strategy, "A Game For Everyone", which will accelerate progress towards achieving our ambitions to make cricket the most inclusive team sport. Growth brings with it new challenges and opportunities, and an opportunity to develop new programmes that seek to increase participation and widen access."

The Cricket Development Officer will be responsible for the delivery of both the DCF's Volunteer Workforce and Welcoming and Inclusive Clubs Operational Plan, in collaboration with the Clubs and Leagues team. The successful candidate will be proactive in providing more opportunities for people to be involved in cricket as a volunteer, ensuring cricket is inclusive and accessible in all areas of the county. Working across the recreational game, the role will focus on creating inclusive environments, developing opportunities, and supporting clubs and communities to engage more with cricket. This role is central to achieving the DCF's purpose to empower communities and improve lives through cricket, and to inspire a generation to say, "Cricket is a game for me".
