Youth Engagement Officer - Wicketz
My Job Role:
My role is to engage with young people in the community to provide opportunities in cricket through our Wicketz Hubs. This goes from getting people involved in playing cricket and recruiting volunteers who want to develop and be active members in the local community.
Why did you want to work at Derbyshire Cricket Foundation?
The DCF is an exciting charity to be working for and has given me the chance to work closely with the sport I love as well as support the future generation of cricket and the communities in Derbyshire.
How do you believe you can help the DCF to achieve it's aims and objectives?
I think I can help the DCF achieve its aims and objectives by being a proactive and approachable person who is always looking for new ways to connect with young people and promote numerous opportunities we can provide them so that they can grow and excel in their interests.
