DCF Trustee
Professional Background
I have had 40+ years experience, until i retired, working in the Power Industry mainly associated Assurance and Compliance of systems applied during execution of projects at Customer locations.
Why did you become a Trustee?
I have been involved in the recreational game at my Club for over 50 years in a variety of roles from playing, serving on committee, Chairman and now President. I am currently active on committee as Grounds Manager. As you will appreciate the experience I have gained, I believe, can give practical support to the DCF while allowing me to give something back to the recreational game in support of the DCF.
How do you believe you can support the Derbyshire Cricket Foundation to achieve its aims and objectives?
Using both my professional and recreational game experience, in support of the DCF Management Team, to continue to improve participation and to ensure that the participation is a positive experience, enjoyed by all irrespective of the background they evolve from. Improving participation has its own challenges both for the DCF and the wider game and I hope I can rise to those challenges in support of the DCF in any role that the Management Team requires.
