Cricket Development Officer - Young People
My Job Role:
I work as a Cricket Development Officer for Young People. I am the head on National Programmes, lead on Holiday programmes and 1-1 programmes and club officer for 32 clubs.
Why did you want to work at Derbyshire Cricket Foundation?
I wanted to work at the DCF because I always wanted to work in cricket either as a player of officer, studied sports development at coaching at Sheffield Hallam University and from that I knew I wanted the role from experiences I had over the 3 years.
How do you believe you can help the DCF to achieve its aims and objectives?
I believe I can help the DCF by continuing to grow the Holiday programmes and National programmes within Derbyshire, as well as growing cricket in the areas I manage through club work and to help them all reach their goals. I also want to do as much as I can within the DCF to continue to increase participation and grow the game within Derbyshire.
