Youth Engagement Officer
My Job Role:
My role as a youth engagement officer I manage the Falcons Leadership Academy which aims to develop young people and provide them with skills, qualifications and confidence for future years, This requires working with community partners and organisations to provide the project with wider initiatives and support. I also Line manage Swagato, our Development Officer for Wicketz.
Why did you want to work at Derbyshire Cricket Foundation?
I really enjoy working in different areas of Derbyshire, each providing their own challenges. It's also a pleasure to work with a fantastic team who have so much impact.
How do you believe you can help the DCF to achieve its aims and objectives?
I hope I can empower communities through providing young people with lifelong skills once they have enrolled on the Falcons Leadership Academy. I would love to see these young people giving back to the game using the skills that we provide them with.
