Community Development Manager
My Job Role:
As Community Development Manager I am responsible for developing, planning and managing the DCF's Community and Health and Wellbeing Strategies, managing budgets, identifying opportunities to grow our presence and ensure inclusivity and accessibility in all our work. Areas of work include expanding our Health and Wellbeing offer, Engagement of Diverse communities, Disability Cricket offers and leading Fundraising events.
Why did you want to work at Derbyshire Cricket Foundation?
I knew of the excellent work that the DCF did before coming to work here and the role that was advertised really peaked my interest. I was really excited to apply for the role in the hope that I could join this brilliant team.
How do you believe you can help the DCF to achieve its aims and objectives?
My role feels central to the future success of the DCF meeting its aims and objectives. By connecting with communities and helping to diversify income streams through fundraising events, my role can help the DCF to have an impact on more than the engaged cricket network and hopefully find new interest in expanding the Derbyshire Cricket network and our programmes.
