Bella Hopcraft

Disability Development Officer

My Job Role:

My role encompasses planning and delivery of the Lord Taverners SEND school programme and Super 1s programmes: providing support to disability champion clubs; disability community sessions and leading on the Disability County Pathway.

Why did you want to work at Derbyshire Cricket Foundation?

I wanted to work at Derbyshire Cricket Foundation as I knew that they are an inclusive place to work, and they already had fantastic programmes that I wanted to help grow. I was also drawn to the DCF mission, that we want everyone to be able to say 'cricket is a game for me'. I always wanted to spread my wings and start a new adventure in a different part of the country.

How do you believe you can help the DCF to achieve its aims and objectives?

I'm a passionate coach, and know that I want my programmes to grow and flourish, and I work hard to ensure everyone has the opportunities to play cricket. <y love to continued professional development and learning means I take ownership on my growth, in order to put my best foot forwards for all my players and participants
